Tune up | DECEMBER 9 2006 | Link Skywalker
It's been about eight months since I originaly overhauled this site. I did it over spring break, and this was my first attempt at doing an entire
website with my new XHTML / CSS skills. Recently I've been looking over this, and quite frankly it's horrid compared to my current standard of
web design. And so here you have the new-ish layout. Not much has changed, but I fixed a lot of problems that I didn't know how to fix 8 months ago.
The layout recieved a tune up of sorts. As did the content! I set up the Philosophy section today. There are several articles over there to start with, so
go on and find out what I think about the important questions! I'm on winter break from school now, and I plan to do a lot of updating around here. Especialy
the stories section, which will have several entries soon. I also am planning to majorly reduce the stuff in the images section, sticking only with my more
skilled or interesting work. I may expand it to include real world art as well, we shall see!

Wow, an update on April first that isn't a joke. Amazing. No I'm just updating to tell you, my non existant reader,
(Unless you're Stephanie, in which case, I love you sweetie, I know you exist!) that there are a lot of changes going
on around here. Firstly, as you may have heard on the main page, the entire server is getting an overhaul. That's right,
I'm ditching the bevy of tables and tortured HTML. I'm finally laying the old language and my techniques for butchering it
to rest in favor of a more W3C compliant XHTML and CSS! A lot of content will be disappearing for awhile, a SHORT while, as this
change takes place. Fear not however, because I've added new content to keep you interested while these changes are taking place. Head
on over to the tabletop section to check it out!

Sooooo here's the deal. I'm Link Skywalker, this is my site. Another one. This one replaces C:\Link_Skywalker.html
as the site that's most generally about "me." I made this change for several resons. Not the least of which being
that the previous site was so poorly maintained that it was going to need a complete overhaul to be worth anything anyway -
and I really had no desire to fix most of the content that I considered to be stupid. And so this site was born, the name is
a non standard unix filepath. I've never used a unix system, but to my understanding Root/users/ isn't somthing that would exist.
However, it looks freaking cool. This site will focus on my work, rather than myself. I think that will give peole a far better
idea of who I am (and be far more useful and entertaining) than a lot of random data about who my friends are. That friend list
brought nothing but trouble anyway. =P
