My name is Nicholas LS Whelan, and I am a very serious boy. You see, I am a writer, and that is a very impressive title which ought to leave you in awe of my great intellect. If it does not, that is only because you are deficient in some way. After all, if I were not an impressive person, how would I have survived the many dangerous trials one must endure before being allowed to call themselves a writer in public?
This domain was given to me as a gift fifteen years ago. For all that time I've been dutifully keeping it registered out of a sort of old-school-Internet delight in owning the domain name for my adolescent handle. Over the years I've occasionally used the domain as a landing page for various projects, but for the most part it has lain dormant for all those fifteen years. That's an absurdly silly thing for me to have done, and it's long past time I did something useful with this URL.
Since I don't have any project better suited to being used here, I've decided to embrace the silliness, and use this space to host whatever strikes my fancy at any given moment.
