The house has a decommissioned chimney. It appears to have been installed as a matter of functional ventilation. There is nowhere along its path which might be re-opened to serve as a pleasant fireplace. As such, it would be preferable to remove it entirely.

Removing the exterior of the chimney is highest priority, as it is currently in need of maintenance:

The breast of the chimney runs through the kitchen. The smallness of the kitchen is one of the house's worst features, so it would be beneficial to remove if possible.

The base of the chimney is not very much in the way. It would be nice to remove, but probably not worth the cost and hassle.
